Trouble in Paradise

Trouble in Paradise is a report published by 1000 Friends of Florida (with cooperation with other conservation organizations as listed below) and shared with Florida elected officials and candidates for office. It identifies six key environmental issues facing our state and overarching strategies to address them, as well as four resource areas that merit specialized consideration.

It is an important read for any concerned citizen as well, and offers a guide for engaging your elected officials and candidates for office.

The report wis the product of the leadership of the late Nathaniel Pryor Reed, along with 1000 Friends of Florida, Apalachicola Riverkeeper, Defenders of Wildlife, Florida Defenders of the Environment, Florida Springs Council, Florida Springs Institute, Florida Wildlife Corridor, Florida Wildlife Federation and League of Women Voters of Florida.
