The Lake County Democrats are sponsoring this electronics recycling event on the 22nd of April, 2023 in Leesburg, adjacent to Pat Thomas Stadium, 240 Ball Park Rd, Leesburg, FL 34748.
This event will be held with the support of Full Circle Electronics FL, LLC, an electronics recycling company based in Ocala, Florida.
The items being collected are known as e-waste, and contains toxic metals that, if disposed of improperly, leach into the ground and water – polluting our earth every day. E-waste represents 2% of America's trash in landfills, but it equals 70% of overall toxic waste.
This event will provide a convenient and responsible way to dispose of these items and keep them out of the landfill.
